HelloSs!
i bought my puma bag n im so happi! waha, thanks a lot mum! anyway, ytd n 2dae stayin home to rot. from tml on gonna be quite bz i guess.
wed pei tt wanlin go buy bag, then thur pei her go cycling too lol. actually wan ask her cousin n her cousin's fren 2 go de, but she say those 2 guys like blockhead, maybe will hav nthn to talk abt. aha, so we gav up on tt idea! lol. then sat maybe going nyp de IT workshop from 10- 2, try out c wad is IT abt. anyway any1 wanna go also can tell mi, we can go 2gth. coz now onli myrin n mi going haha. then ltr that going 2h class outing at sentosa! woo!
anyway, chap9's finally out! haha, thanks frens 4 viewin my blog! tyty a lot!

ShArDs [chapter9: The painful revelation]
Upon reaching the hospital, Josh dashed like a bolt of lightning to the doctor's room. He felt greatly traumatized and thought, Why didn't i realise it earlier?
Mr tan, the doctor, stared quizzically at Josh.
"Hey doctor, don't you have a patient named Camie Chong?" Josh gasped for breaths.
"What's the matter, young man?"
"Please! Let me know what's wrong with her! I need to know!" There was a tinge of desperation in Josh's shaky voice.
The doctor studied Josh carefully, straightened his back, and locked eyes with Josh.
"Sorry, I can't reveal my patient's particulars."
Josh's mouth was dry with dread.
"Please, I know you have the duty to keep it confidential. But.. I'm her friend! i need to know, desperately!" Josh pleaded.
The doctor hesitated.
"Sorry, it's not within my capacity. I'm really sorry. The patient had told me to keep it confidential." The doctor shook his head to show that there was nothing he could do.
Josh was angry at the doctor. He wanted so much to grab his collar and force the truth out of him. On the contrary, he wanted more to punch himself hard for not realising it earlier. He felt tormented, no, worse.
"Aren't you Josh?" A demure lady spoke.
Josh turned.
It was Camie's mum.
"Let's take a stroll in the garden, Josh." Camie's mum forced a smile.
The garden was beautiful and springy with life, flowers flourished accompanied by birds singing rhythmic tunes. Yet, Josh was oblivious to the surrounding. He was worried, very worried.
"Auntie, could you fill me on about Camie's condition?" Josh pleaded.
Camie's mum sighed," I guess i should."
"She was well at first, a really lively and adorable young girl. We never had to worry about her, until recently... " With that, a streak of tear fell down to her chin as she wiped it off hastily.
"That day, it started out just like every normal day. It was in the afternoon that we received a call from the hospital that Camie had fainted and was sent to the hospital. We... we realised that she had difficulty in breathing, which explains why she fainted so.. suddenly." Camie's mum paused to suppress her emotions with great effort.
"She was diagnosed with a rare illness... The... the doctor said that there is an extra vein in Camie's heart. Sometimes, her heart may beat exceedingly fast, so... so... so fast that... the vein may not be in time to transport oxygen to... to her heart. It may happen anytime... anywhere..." Camie's mum broke down into tears, with her hands over her face.
"She may suddenly run out of oxygen, can't catch her breaths. If... if it's not treated, she may die anytime... But... we're poor... we can't afford the medical fees for surgery... I'm scared... really scared... I can't afford to lose Camie... She's my girl!" Camie's mum wept in anguish.
Josh was strickened. he had no more strength to move on. He could not accept it and he did not want to accept it. He was plunged into hell and felt resentment.
Why didn't it happen to me instead? Why? A good girl like Camie, She don't deserve any of these! Josh clenched his fist tightly.
