ShArDs [ chapter7: The first and the last?]

This day, Josh reached the beach far earlier than the meeting time. He was too excited about their date. He had spent the night tossing and turning, anticipating about their date. When Camie arrived, his heart almost leapt out.

They spent the afternoon hanging around in the beach, chatting and cycling. They felt great to be in each other's company.

Once, Josh grabbed Camie and threw her into the waters. She was soaked thoroughly. Josh took the chance to hold Camie's hand and pulled her up on shore.

By evening, they were lying side by side, laughing hard.

"You know, I feel this is the right time to tell you." Josh uttered.

"Yea?"

"In my eyes, there's only you and you alone. I can't see Kimmie, not to mention Kay."

Camie smiled.

"Hey, could you tell me the three words for once?" Josh implored.

"What three words?"

"Don't fake! You know, I know, everyone knows!"

"Dream on!" Camie replied naughtily and ran off, with Josh running behind her.

The following day, Josh made a morning call to Camie. Nevertheless, no one answered. He felt uneasy. Camie was not in school, and it made Josh worried. Josh pressed the doorbell to Camie's house repeatedly but had no reply. Now, Josh was sick with worry.

What happened to you? Josh thought.
