Heyhey,

Went to church in the morning and saw vanessa in bishan as usual. So i alighted n went to church with them. Realised that melissa invited jiexin!!! she's my phs schoolmates! sheena's fren! Oh gosh! Such a coincidence. It was fun!

During the service, i learnt a lot of things. (: okay, so pastor said about no one is born stupid, neither is anyone born smart. She used scientific theory to prove it. It goes like this... those ppl who are smart, are not because they are born to be smart, but because they think a lot. Scientists have proved that the more a person thinks, the more the connections in the brain. For example, how do we know that 2 x 2 is 4. It's like, when we just learnt it, we were tentative in our answers. However, now, we will just shoot out the answer 4 without any hesitations. This is because of the connection established in our brains.

One of the experiments are of these 2 rats. One of it in a deprived condition, meaning that it is in a place where it would not stimulate the brain to think. While the other one in a stimulated environment. Later on, the scientist placed the 2 rats in a maze, to test if they can find the food, and how fast can they find it. It is proven that the rat in the stimulated environment found the food easily, while the other either have great difficulty, or could not manage to find it. When the scientist examined the brains of the two rats, they found more connections in the brain of the rat in the stimulated environment than the other one.

So, overall, what pastor is trying to tell us is that, no one is stupid. We can all excel in our studies if we stop being lazy in our minds. We need to think. Sometimes we may find our thinking to be slower than the others, that's because we don't think as often as the others. So, when anyone thinks slow, it's not because he/she is stupid, its only because his/her brain is not trained enough.

After this sermon, i am actually happy. I used to think that i'm stupid, always being slow and all. But now, i feel like a great burden been lifted off my shoulders! I am not stupid! haha. I only need to learn conscientiously and think more!!! Ya, and the same goes to all of you! Hope you all can be encouraged (:

Christina had this testimony that made me cried. She was talking about her family problems and we could feel that she's really sad about them. As she spoke, she started crying. And ya, a lot of us cried too. It was so touching. She said about how pastor helped her with her studies, with her family and financial problems. It was a great testimony!

Overall, was happy i can go church today. (:

Anyway, i've fallen head over heels in love with mr bean's 3 in 1 riceballs! And the beanie toys!!! I can't be saved anymore! The beanie toys are so cute!!!! My goodness! Faints! i want the beanie toys!!! LOL.

Tonight 8pm on channel 5!! YAY! Happy Potter!!! LOL. okay, Harry potter. I swear the dementors are real creepy, the first time i watched in the cinema, i was completely scared out of my wits! Hair stands. lol. They look gross, but of cause, when it comes to the level of gross, they can't be compared to voldemort. My gosh.

I still have lots of homeworks left undone. All the best to me. Waha, hope i can finish them on time. About 3 more weeks to ca2. Oh wow, fantastic! Ahhh...
